Before they launch,

We would

Find one another

In the dark

Suspended in amber

Amidst a throng of witnesses

As they whispered

Hopes

Fears

There are lights in the sky

But in the end

If it were too dark to read

I would just want to look

At you

For the

First

Last

Time

The look in my eyes

Time enough

A kiss

To say one another’s names

Then they are
