Light My Way

Silence my self reproach

With a touch

Although I walk the path

Rather than kiss demons with my

Silver tongue to buy their silence

Sometime between one moment

And the next is a pocket of chill

A remove and those points

Sneak past my armour

Numb my soul’s feet

But put out your hand

Even Zeus needed a little

Reassurance from Hera

Not the best example

But we speak to the divine within

One another

Even when we don’t

so call my name

Fuel to the fire

Which lights my way
