A quiet carnival

Breathe fully

In my presence,

My kiss

My touch

Breathe into your lungs

The right air for singing

To your emotions

Humour of the body

Not just the intellect

A wild laugh waits

Within me to share with you

And how we dance so well

With one another

I speak to the scars

Receive and give worship,

Kiss into being

All manner of spirits

Have them dance in the air above

A quiet carnival

Which invites us to join them

In the low hours

How your hips

Accept the invitation

And I make my

Own decision

Whether to follow
