beauty love poetry women

It hums

It hums

Sings between us,

Falling into bars of silence

When other instruments,

Assert themselves,

But the vibrations

Hang in the

Words, the voices,

Our actions,

Not draped in sentiment,

Or stitched with denial,

We hear the missed notes,

And recall the drunken roar,

All of it still
