Black Hole Heart

In my chest

Beats a black hole heart

Those who pass through

Emerge changed

Not always unscathed

Yet it pulls

And sometimes

I suffer

Sometimes

I celebrate

The dense silence

Of my presence

The animal attention

Where my kisses

Make you twinkle

Like stars

And there are places

Within me

Yet to be explored

Nothing escapes me

So surrender

And find

dizzying

revelation

Within the darkness

Your light will

Guide you

Home

This is so well written. The way the piece reads as though the audience is anybody right up until the end. That’s when it feels as if you are talking to one person in particular.
