Water

Image

Our bodies

Are mostly made

Of water

We flow

Froth

Bubble

Fizz

Churn

Freeze solid

Beading on skin

We quench thirst

Cleanse

Trickling down

Offering a place

To float

We can drown within

Ourselves

My lips

Against yours

My fingers exploring

Grasping

Pinching for bright

Beautiful

Bursts of hurt

We mingle

So well

We are a

Wave, my love

Crash against my shore

Push

Pull

Admit

That we would

Both be soaked

So well

In one

Another

I would

Make a teeming

Garden

Of the arid

Places

Within

You

Lay

Beneath

Me

Let me

Pour myself

So that you

Would writhe

Soaked

In gleaming

Pearlescent

Ropes of my

Essence
