An Afternoons Work

My hand
At the nape of your neck
The cars roar past
Windows open
To alleviate the heat
Here you beg
For my rough hands
Reading you like braille
My mouth
Closing and drawing
The salt from your skin
Your need is a cousin
To anguish

But firmly
Gently I coax
Your secrets from you
All the things you want
But fear rejection in
The asking
A key to desires temple
Turned slow in the lock
And look
How you writhe with purpose
Almost drugged
Heavy lidded eyes as
The silks you wear
Bundled around your
Flesh stinging
From my blows

And how here in shadows
You’ve found what a time spent
Beneath sunlight feels akin to
Orgasms firing
Like dying stars
I know you
And who you are
What you want
Cannot scare me
From my work

Testing your beauty
With my strength
To see
If it has depth
Does it, darling?
Would you show me
Who you really are
Ask me
The things that you want
And if you’re a good girl
I’ll give
And take
And give again
