Project Laughter 05/05/2015

So, here we are. The last book has been tucked away for six weeks and in the meantime, I have begun work on Project Laughter.

So it’s a different scenario and I’m trying to get as late into the story as possible but establishing who these people are and what they want.

The time spent thinking about this has meant that I have an idea of what the story is without binding myself to a particular course of action.

First drafts tend to meander but here I’m going straight in.  Each time out I’ve learned something that applies to the next book. To me, I want to outdo the previous work in terms of my approach and feelings about it.

So its back to my Norwich,  where Debra and Max, Daniel and Caitlin go about their lives in a city that I know well enough to ignore specifically.  Sophie represents a different facet and I’m looking forward to seeing the world through her eyes.
